Melody Thornton

Melody Thornton, CPA, is our firm’s Tax Manager. Having built a distinguished career over the past 20 years with one of San Diego’s oldest and largest accounting and consulting firms, Melody is one of our region’s leading tax consultants.

Her specialties include tax strategies, tax reporting, stock based compensation, stock options, corporate tax planning, tax provisions for public companies, mergers and acquisitions, with focus on private and closely held companies. She also possesses a comprehensive knowledge of taxation for not-for-profit organizations and California state tax issues.

Her extensive expertise spans tax and management consulting for companies across a variety of industries including construction, technology, light manufacturing, and distribution. Her distinct ability to understand and respond to the unique challenges faced by today’s small businesses allows her to develop and execute sound tax planning strategies for each and every one of our clients.
