2013 Payroll Withholding Tables

Publication 15 has not yet been published for 2013 because the IRS was waiting for Congress to pass a law regarding income tax rates. Use this document for calculating 2013 federal income tax withholding. The FICA rate is 6.2% of wages up to $113,700. The Medicare rate is 1.45% on all wages.

2013 California Employer’s Guide

CA DE44 provides the 2013 withholding tables. The SDI rate for 2013 is 1.00% on wages up to $100,880. Beginning in 2013 the EDD will no longer automatically mail this publication to employers. If you want them to mail you a copy submit a request at https://eddservices.edd.ca.gov.
